Customizing Cut List template

Does anyone know how to customize the cut list template? SolidWorks says you can do it but it did not work for me.
The Reason I need this is because we have a custom BOM template that we use on our drawings. When I drop a cut list in my bom it does not like the difference in formatting. I guess my real question would be if the cut list template matched the BOM template. Would this work better?

Hey NTME76249;
You can customize the BOM and or Cut List as you wish, adding, deleting, formatting as you may need and save it as a template. I believe it will be very helpful if you can post the Template that you have to achieve.
