Cycle through parts of CAD assembly and export to PowerPoint ; 1 part per slide

Hello,
I'm not a CAD designer, but I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a tool in Catia or if someone has written a Macro which can create a PowerPoint of an assembly with 1 slide per part of the assembly.
My preferred system would be Catia, but I could also work with some other CAD systems.

Hi,

If I were doing this, I'd EXPORT the BOM as a .csv text file and IMPORT the list into Excel.

Using that list, I'd write a simple procedure in VBA to ADD a Presentation object and create a Slide for each Part in the List and finally SAVE the Presentation.

So you'd probably have better success, I'm guessing, posting your question in forum766.

I did in the past something similar, but only by request of user, for that specific part/product or view.
But, yes it's possible! it needs a lot of rework.

It can be done in multiple ways...including in a batch process. You just need a little work to prepare for the job.
