Hi All,

I am trying to size a Deaerator for two electric boilers that we will be installed for a client. Can anyone provide me the references or documents that I can use to learn about Pressurized Deaerator sizing. I am looking for the basis for the following calculations:

1. Air venting requirements in pressurized Deaerators to keep dissolved Oxygen below 7 ppb.
2. Steam rate vented along with air that is vented.
3. Deaerator Storage Tank sizing basis for a total boiler capacity.
4. Feed water flow rate calculation for a Boiler capacity and sizing basis for Feed water Control valve.
5. Stripping steam flow rate calculation and Steam Control Valve sizing basis.

Thanks and Regards,
Pavan Kumar

You may want to go to Chemical Plant design and operations forum where lots of chemical engineers to give you answers. I have purchased several deaerators, but as vessel engineer, I don't size it. It is from our process guys. Or you can ask suppliers to give you technical basis. Don't count on vessel or mechanical engineers to give you proper insights.

I already did. Thanks. I did not get the answers I was looking for so I thought of re-posting the question here. Thanks again.
