Default values

Hey there!

I ran a simulation on abaqus where I defined the material with the following properties:

*SOLID SECTION,ELSET=test1,MATERIAL=test
*Material, name=test
*Elastic
12000, 0.3

If no value is chosen for density and damping, is there a default value?

[FEA way]

In analyses that require density definition, the simulation won't run and you will be asked to provide this property. Material damping simply won't be included in the simulation if you don't define it.
