I was going to post this on the Sisters Creek walkway thread, but thought it might be worth it's own discussion.

Does engineering failure only include a design or construction error that directly leads to structural failure, fire, short circuit, or other failure, or does it include designs that contribute to or prevent recovery from catastrophic user errors?

...that's almost as bad a line as 'they held me down and poured beer down my throat'.

Rather than think climate change and the corona virus as science, think of it as the wrath of God. Feel any better?

i am a mech.... i don't know how much you know about medic Phd's I was called in at her orthoepic vita for her Phd because the medic prof was clueless about the FEA. It's was rather interesting especially because she didn't really grasp mesh quality etc.... the first question was met by a frown and it went down hill from there. The prof took me and tommy+ wife(who is utterly lovely) out for dinner after. She still has issues whith the issues i brought up and now she is consultant and nobody can touch her. Still fecking useless with a drill though......

I think it's quite interesting, that men have the ability to be ready, although they are so drunk and they can not stand on their feet and especially when they do not seem to remember a whiff afterwards, does not seem to apply in your case though ..
It seems it goes on autopilot .. LOL

I think I can come up with one or two strange places for that activity myself, but I think I will leave it at that. ;-)

plus at that time I was playing in the TA as proper soldier and had just come back from Belize and Cyprus when I was drunk on the bridge so I more than likely was not the normal pale blue Scottish male and not a fatty. I might have been attractive even if she had been sober!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well she was on top due to my pissed state..... that time.... Anyway this is hardly a conversation for an engineering forum..... Although she did like star trek...and star wars but anyway....

I had figured that mush out :) It is usually the way it works under those conditions...
Who doesn't ;-)
So if you have time for some real engeneering, you might take look at my CAD project on the hobby thread.

If i could find a way to get the bloody thing to accept them 90% of every thing would be in blind..

but it kicks up erros when i want to go adpl mode...

20 years ago i would get a box and then type /prep7 and i would be laughing it still works apparently just i haven't managed in the student version.
