Deformable Routing Part

I'm trying to create a deformable piece of stock according to the instructions in the documentation given in
Home -> CADRouting -> SystemsRouting -> Common Routing tools -> Part -> Flexible assembly component.

Unfortunately when adding the part to an assembly I always get an error message "An operation was attempted on an invalid or unsuitable OM object". I'm not allowed to upload part files but the setup is as simple as possible. It is only an assembly with two connector components and a part file with a piece of stock of constant length with nothing else and the sweep defined as deformable as in the instructions.

Can anybody give a suggestion on what the error message even means? What is in OM object?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I'm using NX 9.0.1.3 and electrical routing.

Maybe my explanations were not clear enough so I made a video showing what I'm talking about:

I'm trying to follow the instructions given in the nx documentation:
.../nx/ugdoc//html_files/nx_help/index.html#uid:index_routing:id1239085:id1239151:parts_flex_assembly:genid_using_flexible_hose_116_5367

Anybody?

I tried to find more information looking at the syslog file. Is this simply a bug? It seems that after copying the sweep feature (stock) into the assembly a transformation is tried on the feature to position it but it fails because the end points are routing specific objects (see bold line). I've attached the part of the log file from the beginning of "place part" to the end.

@John: If you are reading this maybe you could take a look and simply confirm if this is bug so I can stop trying.

I'm sorry, but I really have not used the Routing tools enough to comment on that. My advice is that if you're able to reproduce this problem consistently that you contact GTAC and have them look at it.

Unfortunately the problem is absolutely unrelated to work stuff. I do hobby-related projects in my spare time with the consent of the employer so I don't want to overstretch it by asking "officially" for support.
Anyway - thank you for taking your time!

Hi
This is a problem with NX9.

I have logged a PR with Siemens.
