Can someone explain how to delete an extra revision symbol in a SW drawing? Occasionally I'll click one too many times and place an extra revision symbol on a drawing. When I delete that symbol, all revision symbols at that particular revision level are deleted also. I'm sure there is a simple solution, but this is quite frustrating. I'm using SW 2009.

I'm not sure about SW2009, but in SW2010 you are given a pair of options when deleting a Rev symbol.

First one is "Do you wish to delete corresponding revision table row?"

Second one is "Do you wish to delete corresponding revision symbols?"

If you have selected the "Do not ask again" option (see attached images), they will be automatically removed.

If that is the case, the option can be reset at Tools > Options > System Options > Advanced by selecting the relevant message.

CBL is correct for SW2009 sp 4.0 at least. Check the systems options, advanced, and unselect the revision check box. It's been this way for a while.

Thanks CorBlimeyLimey. I was able to deselect the option in the advanced system options. Now I can recall getting that option in the past.

Scott, you are welcome. After 10 years of using this software, I learn something new or forgotten, most days reading the posts here.

I understand... been using it since 95 myself and supported it through a VAR for the last 7 years and I still learn something new every day with the software.
