dear team,
please help,how to calculate the density of sulphur,which is contain:
sulphur=595,6056 kmol = 19059,3792 kg
h2o = 1,6796 kmol = 30,5561 kg
ash = 0,0798 kmol = 5,7293 kg
fe = 0,0103 kmol = 0,5279 kg
nacl = 0,027 kmol = 1,5755 kg

At what temp?
You have 0.2% impurities (99.8 S), so it can't be far off of pure sulfur.

Sulfur density is rarely, if ever calculated. Use the available sulfur density tables. It is a complex material to say the least.

Sulfur is a solid at those conditions, so your density will depend on the degree of crystallinity, and whether or not it is powdered,

It is a complex material, so you might contact your supplier,

EdStainless is right. Therefore the data about molten sulfur specific gravity in
thread135-273381 may be useful.

I believe the op has indicated 140 Deg C conditions, so solid sulfur is being considered,

if you examine the density tables, there is quite a range of densities dependent on a number of factors and considerably different from the liquid state.

To hacksaw. The melting point of sulfur is 115.2 Celsius. Therefore at 140 degrees it is a liqud.

I stand corrected, sloppy temperature conversion evidently, oh well...
