Design pressure limits in ASME Sect.8 Div.1

A pressure vessel design pressure is 230kg/cm^2G and design temp. 200℃
Can I use ASME Code Sect.8 Div.1 with "U" Stamp certification?

Review U-1(d) of VIII-1. Also check the applicable state or country for jurisdictional requirements as to Code & stamping applications.
 
Section VIII-1 is not restricted or prohibited for use at this pressure temperature condition. Depending on size (dia and length), VIII-2 may be economical. As XL83NL advised ensure you are complying with jurisdiction. Better talk to your AI
 
To expand upon what XL83NL said, U-1(d) states
ASME Section VIII said:
The rules of this Division have been formulated on
the basis of design principles and construction practices
applicable to vessels designed for pressures not exceeding
3,000 psi (20 MPa). For pressures above 3,000 psi
(20 MPa), deviations from and additions to these rules
usually are necessary to meet the requirements of design
principles and construction practices for these higher
pressures. Only in the event that after having applied
these additional design principles and construction practices
the vessel still complies with all of the requirements
of this Division may it be stamped with the applicable Certification
Mark with the Designator.
Your pressure is 3,272 psi. VIII-1 does not state explicitly what the "deviations from and additions to" the rules are, nor what the "additional design principles and construction practices" are.

Completely agree to talk with your AI to figure out what these items would actually need to be.

In general, I would start with Section VIII, Division 2, Class 1 and then contemplate Class 2 for economical reasons.
