I am getting higher shear at support location for my slab. (150kN/m+)

If I set my design strip narrow enough, say 0.5m only then it will require slab shear reinforcement. Do we still use the same design strip width (6m) for shear check? Can we reply the slab to average the shear like how we did for bending moment?

Its not just punching shear but also beam type shear.
I am having large shear at the beam intersection on LHS as you can see

Also my slab is not sitting directly on top of walls but on beams

Oh, if your slab is on beams then disregard what I said…

Yeah it is on beams but I am concerning about the beam-type shear as well because I am getting large shear near the beam-beam & beam-wall intersection.
