Design Table Link 1

Good Day All:

I'm using SoldiWorks 2001Plus
Sp4.0

Today's problem I'm having is my Design Table on the drawing does not reflect my Table in my part.
When I double click the drawing table it takes me to the part table but the two tables are not the same.
To shwow the part table I have to insert a new design table.
Is this normal? I would think that the drawing should relflect the part. I must be missing something.

Is there something you can e-mail me, so I can get a better idea of what your problem is?
I don't know what the Design Table on the drawing would be - are you talking about the Bill of Materials?
What drawing table are you clicking that would take you to a part table & exactly what is a part table?
Sorry, I'm really not trying to be a pain & I want to help you if I can - that way I can learn too.
It's just that either your problems are way over my head, or your questions are to vague/confusing for me.
Please be patient and over-explain your problem.

I don't know what the Design Table on the drawing would be - are you talking about the Bill of Materials?

No not a BOM see Insert Design Table when in a Drawing

What drawing table are you clicking that would take you to a part table & exactly what is a part table?
part table is the design table within the part.

If I understand you correctly your design table in your drawing will not update when you add another configuration to your part? If this is correct SWX has issued a SPR to resolve this problem. I ran into the same thing last week and it is a bug in the program. You will have to insert a new DT when you change the part DT.
