I worked with a client on registering their Diaphragm Seals for sale in Canada, which required we do some calculation per BPVC Section VIII. Some of the seals they offer did not make it and they require our advice on possible design changes.
The part is an all-welded, threaded-process-connection diaphragm seal, and it needs to hold more pressure than it currently does. I was thinking that they can include one or more extra welds for joint reinforcement, or even weld the clamp rings together, or maybe some kinda intelligent gasket design.
Any ideas coming my way would help.
