Working with IC cycles here-

investigating the ASE of dual combustion cycle here -

when finding the temperatures and pressures, to find v3 you use the following equation v3 = P2V2/T2 = P3V3/T3. Then you rearrange this to find v3, but I cant seem to rearrange this correctly, anybody know what the equation is?

I am also not sure what the equation is to find P4 and T4.

I have found all other pressures and temperatures apart from the 3 mentioned aboove.

The ASE should work out to be around 60%, so if thats what you get you can be pretty sure the maths is correct.

To understand the relationships between T,P,v, and S when analyzing a diesel cycle, first you should draw the P-v and T-S diagrams; note v=V/m; then you can use the appropriate relationships between T,P,v and S during the isentropic expansion and compression phases, isobaric phase when heat is added to the cycle, and isochoric phase when heat is rejected from the cycle.
Any classical thermodynamics book or even Wikipedia on the net will have the relationships that you need for a diesel cycle.
