Hi, I am new in this kind of forums.
Look, My client is requiring me to comply with API6DSS / ISO14723.
So, I asked to the vendor if the subsea valves he selling me, comply with API6DSS / ISO14723. He said yes, but he only send me an API6DSS certificate. My doubt is, if these two specifications are different or are the same. I mean, do I need to demand to my vendor that give an API 6D SS certificate and ISO 14723 certificate???
I don't know, if I explain what I am looking for, please advise.

Thanks.

My Underrtanding of the ISO standards system is that teh ISO adopt a particualr standard as an ISO. SO for example many API standards are also ISO standards; the BSI quality standards became the ISO quality standards and so on. I don't know if an ISO certifcate exists....

Get hold of a copy of API 16D SS and read what it says in the forward.

Look, I received a call from a partner, in my job, another entity in Houston and he told me the same that you, the API 6D SS is the same code that ISO 14723; and until now I don't know if exist a certificate for ISO, anyway I have already resolved this issue with my client.

Thanks for your tips.
