Difference between rubber testing 1

Hi All,
I have a quick question regarding rubber testing.
Is it correct to compare Tear strength tests from ISO and ASTM between ISO 34-1 Method A and ASTMD624 Die C?

Are they the same?

If you are making a contract, put the one which is more stringent.
I have used the ASTM one only, no idea about the other.

The strength tests should compare fairly well.
But don't try to compare other tests such as tearing.
