For those who have taken the exam, I'd like to know if there were questions about the spec numbers for standards cited in Y14.5. I've seen some on some practice exams.

I took the 1994 exam a while ago, but I don't recall questions about specs/standards cited in Y14.5. Have you checked in the body of knowledge appended in Y14.5.2-2017?

It looks like Y14.5.2–2017 simply lists the entire contents of Y14.5. I guess they could ask it considering this, but I would really hope not!

When I took the technologist exam, I remember a couple of questions regarding spec numbers, but I didn't see any on the senior exam.

When I took 2009 test there was one question regarding specifications. I believe it was asking what spec controls metric limits and fits.

Thanks. I was hoping to be able to avoid having to memorize useless information but it sounds like that’s not the case.
