For our Friday fun. I guess this is what happens when you buy from vendors that aren't familiar with their own products.

To save space on shipping I would guess?

And protect them a bit as well?

Epoxy mount fasteners with pre-primed adhesive surface. The vendor put tamper evident stickers on the bonding surface for inventory tracking. You're not even supposed to touch them there.

That's what they are and I usually buy them from an authorized distributor but my local marine hardware store had some on their shelves. I would toss them if they were for aviation but these will be attaching a sat compass to a wheelhouse.

The smaller components ship in cell packs. The heavy duty studs come individually wrapped. These 2 inch studs typically ship multiples in a bag. The last round of small studs I bought came individually but with protective covers.

There is a self-retained line that does away with the plastic holder. It reduces waste but I don't like using them because there are no alignment marks.
