Discrepancy b/t actual weldment length and cut list length

I've got a weldment item that has been trimmed, but the specified cut list length is of the original item length, before trim.

-I tried the Trim/Extend command, and a simple cut-extrude among selected bodies - neither affect the discrepant value.

Is there something I am missing to get the trimmed length to be automatically populated in my cut-list?

Right click on the cut-list in the feature tree, and click update.

did that as well

I've had ongoing issues with cut-lists as well. One that started on one model was that it would keep the trimmed portion. By editing that part, you could see a bunch of call-outs on screen saying what parts are to keep and what parts are to discard.

Another issue came when the part was actually protruding into t-slots I was doing with the weldment feature. It turns out that the "all protrusion" (I think that was the term) in SW 2009 had a bug that caused it to ignore clearing that option.

My solution was to always to use a surface to trim to, not a body.
