Displacement limit for free standing canopy

Dears,

I'm designing a free standing canopy as a sunroof on a crane. I'm wondering if there is a horizontal/vertical displacement limit for the canopy?
I'm a mechanical engineer and not familiar with Eurocode or other similar codes. Could you please tell me the limits, related load case and the code clauses?

The roof elements are all steel.

I don't know the Eurocodes but this strikes me as a structure that would be highly tolerant of drift:

1) Surely very little weight with which to generate P-delta instability.

2) Probably nothing nearby that would be damaged by the movement of the shade.

In the absence of an actual code requirement for this, maybe H/60 drift limit?
 
Further to Kootk,

Generally the deflection limits are driven by the amount that can be tolerated by the cladding.

Tread carefully, if you have brittle cladding (such as glass) I recommend an in-plane deflection limit of span/500 as a minimum starting point (or a more onerous criteria provided the facade contractor).

In your case, I believe you are asking for the deflection limit of the columns which are presumably uncladded.
Whereby the deflection limit imposed is based on "engineering judgement" as no-one will be there to see a ~30mm deflection under a service wind event.

In our office, we typically adopt a sway limit of H/125 or 30mm (whichever is less) as we generally do not like the idea of the columns swaying more than that.
