i have to transmit a loading to a structure using rigid elements

is using the coupling constraint equivalent to rigid elements?

And what should i use?

DISTRIBUTING OR KINEMATIC?

the manual of abaqus is not clear concerning this subject

No, use an RB3D2 or one of it's friends depending upon what exactly you want to do. Explicit MPC's will do the same but you need to know what you are doing with them. Read the manual carefully and be careful how you define them - it's very easy to make mistakes.

y using coupling elements is not enough
