Documents Required to be Submitted by the vendor for Bulk Components Piping / Flanges / Fittings

Dear All,

Looking for Help. I am reviewing Bid from different Piping Component Vendor. I am not sure what documents shall they submit to us after Purchase. I think Material Certificate is enough. Can anybody tell significant document aside from Matl. Cert.

And what is written in your purchasing requirements?
Many people require additional documents, such as chemistry certs from the original melter, and NDT reports if applicable.

Yes Sir. There are document requirement. But i believe that not all are needed and i am not sure which should i accept. A pipe supplier may provide a mill cert ( usually contains all necessary test for component from a mill including chemistry). Anyway if you have experience aside from mill cert please let me know for reference. Thanks a lot.

2. NDT reports

3. 3rd party inspection reports

4. PMI reports (as 1. may not be available)

Add the dimension drawing to the required document list above. Also, make sure the bidder proposal commit to the required documents dates as specified on PO.
