Does Siemens NX CAM software warn you of machining failure?

I am wondering if there is a built in feature in Siemens NX CAM software that warns the user of potential machining failures such as tool breaking, etc.

If not, does anyone know of a CAM software that has this capability? What about Mastercam?

Thanks.

Probably based on the material properties and the cutting parameters. I know there's a CAM program called Mach Pro that can do it. But I'm wondering if Siemens NX/Mastercam can.

If you are asking about material removal rate, you can use optimize feed rate, which will adjust the feed to keep the MRR within user specified limits. For example, slowing down if the tool enters a sharp corner. Note that we have cut pattern features to minimize this, such as corner rounding of the path and stepovers, and trochoidal cutting.

If you know the settings for a partular tool material, part material, and cutting type, you can save these in the machining data system, and reuse them as needed, to provide a good starting point.

If you are asking about vibration analysis, we have partners that do that.

That can only be done from the nachine controller, not the off-line programming system which NX is.

There may be some simulation of cutting times that could be used for estimating cutting tool time.
