Hello!

I have seen many and very interesting threads, but I have yet to find information (or where to get it) for vibration analysis for bearings.

I know some use Vdb in FTT, or mV in demodulated (only radial because it takes to long to measure in three directions). But I have not found an article about how to detect early, advanced or critical wear in bearings. Only the basics. I would greatly appreciate any information

thank you all for your information... some links I had seen, some I hadn't and some I don't want to spend on...
I guess is up to me now...
thnks

There are alot of good bearing wear related articles available for free here:

Many include real graphs with explanations of the peaks and patterns. Hope you'll find them useful.

Also, collecting data in 3 axis does not take longer if you have a 4 channel data collector!
