Doubt about GENERATOR technical drawing 1

First thoughts:
1. the view shown is an isometric, often used to show general details, not specifics. For these you need to to see the traditional Orthographic Views (google it.)

2. I suspect that the letters are not from Engish, but looking at the generator, i suspect they mean:

drive end (where the turbine will go)

non drive end / exciter end
 
Or grid lines showing the placement on a larger print.

TS/TE = turbine (prime mover) side.
ES/EE = exciter (not prime mover) side.

Could just as easily have been called DE (drive end = prime mover end), and ODE (opposite drive end). Or, in the case of one particular manufacturer, REAR (prime mover) and FRONT (furthest from prime mover) ends.
