Drafting hidden line question

Still running 7.5 with TC intergration,

When placing views onto the sheet (drafting), the default is hidden line invisible. Typically, I manually click the first view and chenge it to hidden line visible/dashed.

I would like to change my default to be visible/dashed but cannot seem to locate this setting in customer defaults. Is there a way to change the default?

If you are using a template for your drawings, you will have to make the change in the template file. Template files have the settings saved within the file itself so you can have multiple versions for different situations (eg a contractor working for multiple clients each with their own drawing preferences). The customer defaults are applied to a new blank file.
