Hello Everybody!

I use NX 7.0.09.

I would like to „hide and show” the hidden lines of some views.
I can do it now with 6 click. (2 click on view – Style – Hidden Lines – Invisible – OK )
It is OK, but I use this command (hide hidden lines / show hiden lines) very much.

It could be very good, if I could make it with 2 click. (User buttom + click on view)
I made a Macro but it memorise the ID number of the view, that is why I can not use the macro in other part.

Do you know somebody, how could help me to make this development?

Thank you very much in advance!

I wish "Rendering Style" drop down options buttons in Modeling are available in drafting too.

In a Macro, when it's being recorded, you can say that you want to create a 'User Entry' at the point where you would have recorded the view selection, but now when you run the macro, it will stop and ask you which view you want to select and then it will continue from there. This option was provided for just such situations as this.

Thank you very much for the answer!
The problem is the version of NX.
"User Entry" doesn't work in NX 7.0.0.9. (It is good from NX 7.5... I has tested it.)

Why are you still running NX 7.0 as your apparent working version of NX?

You're technically five versions behind. Besides, we never really expected anyone to use NX 7.0 for any length of time since it was replaced almost immediately by the release of NX 7.5. I suggest that you update to at least NX 9.0 or even NX 10.0 ASAP.

We're only now switching from NX6 to NX8.5.
The users have no control over this in larger companies.
