Drafting warning message

Can someone please explain this message and how to remove the cause of it? it appeared few times so far on some older drawings (when opening them). Part cleanup sometimes helps or at least I think.

Generally speaking, this indicates that a problem was detected with one or more splines. Most often this involves a bad data point, often a singularity, where two adjoining data points have the same coordinates. Prior to the use of b-splines, having adjacent points referencing the same values was not a problem, despite the fact that the resulting curve may have had a poor shape, but mathematically it was permissible. However, this is not the case with b-slines. Now these problem curves usually come from one of two sources, either old pre-b-spline curves which were converted by the system or curves from data imported into NX from some other system which might not be so strict about the mathematical foundation of their geometry.

Now this message is not really telling that there is something wrong, but rather it's notifying you that a curve has been modified in order to avoid problems and we are simply warning you that a change was made so as to give you a chance to verify that whatever was done will not effect the intended usage of the curves.

What you should do is go to...

Information -> Object...

...and in the Filters section of the dialog select the 'Attribute Filter' option. When the next dialog comes up, select the button at the bottom titled 'User-Defined Attributes', in the next dialog set the 'Attribute Type' to 'String' and for the 'Title' enter "SUSPECT939" (without the quotes of course), hit OK and then OK a second time. Now you are back to the original menu but you're set the filter so now just select the 'Slect All' option and and you should see the 'problem' splines highlight. Now hit OK and report will be generated which will include the 'value' of the SUSPECT939 attribute. Review what it says to learn what was done to 'fix' the spline or if there is additional action that you are recommended to take.

Anyway, this not something you should lose sleep over nor does this indicate the data is corrupt or can't be used, just that there was a problem with data associated with spline which has been fixed (otherwise a message would have indicated that something had been deleted) and which there is a message about what was done stored in an object attribute titled "SUPECT939" assigned to that curve.
