Driven Timber Piles

What are the average lengths of driven timber piles? I read in the FHWA Timber Pile Design and Construction Manual that typical lengths for timber piles are 0 to 75 feet (for southern pines I think).

75 footers are hard to transport. 50 footers and use more. Unless the bad materil is deeper. Then you may have to chase them.

I typically experienced no more than 60 ft.; 40 to 45 ft were more common.

From my experience 45 to 50 feet is good common range.
