In dealing with EEx rated equipment. Can I simply purchase EEx rated equipment and mount in an EEx rated enclosure to comply with the requirements of an EExe panel for Zone 2 requirements? Alternatively, do I have to have the assembled panel built by or at least certified by an outside source? (This would be an electrical control panel I am referring to. In this case a small enclosure with three H-O-A switches and terminals for Digital and Analog junction.)
Thanks so much for your help...

No problem, just make sure that the cable glands and your external switches are the same certification, with EEXe equipment inside an EEX enclosure there's no need to have it made up and re-certified.
Hope this answers your question.

What does the abreviation TN-s mean on a one line diagram.
This abrevation appears to have describe the bus configurations in switchgear. Where can a list of abbrevations used on European one line diagrams be found?

Hi,

TN-S means that you have a seperate neutral and a seperate protective earth wire running throug your system. TN-C means that they are combined.
