Peers,

Can anyone pls advise on the closed cell elastomer insulation for heat conservation below 120deg C? It is industry practice to use mineral/rock wool, cellular glass for heat conservation, but not really sure about the limitation of elastomeric material as HC insulation on gas process piping. Since the temp range > 90 -150deg C is quite critical to avoid CUI, I expect there are some previous industry experience on using this material.

Cheers

I know they use the strong type of styrofoam with alu. sheeting.
Sometimes wooden blocks as supporting when You need a fixed support.

Thanks Steve... Do you know where can I get a copy of CINI Handbook for download (free or paid)?

You might try googling CINI Insulation Handbook.
