Hi,

When I run my script on my laptop, which has Intel processor, I do not receive the element shape violation error. but I run the same script on my PC which has AMD processor, the element shape violation limit appeared?

This is weird to me, anyone has any idea about this?

Thanks

Do both computers run the same version? Its possible the limit for violation changed from one release to another. Also, Ansys is constantly tweeking meshing parameters, so you may be getting different meshes if the versions are different.

Yes, it can be caused by different release versions. Or you could try to run the same script on the third computer that has an AMD CPU, see if the element shape violation limit can be reproduced?

Yes, both computers run the same release version. I have re-run the script on other Intel pc, no element violation warning, similar to my intel laptop. I will try on other AMD pc.

Thanks for the replies.
