I am trying to run a simple analysis of an assembly. The product is a Parabolic trough collector, and the purpose of the analysis is to determine how would the supporting structure holdup in different phases of its operation. To that end, the first analysis was to keep the aperture plane parallel to the ground, which should be quite simple. There was no problem with the meshing, but when I started the solution, it was soon ended due to unknown reason, and I was directed to review solution information. There, I came upon following errors:
ANSYS Solution Information said:
*** ERROR *** CP = 16.734 TIME= 22:20:39
Element 301490 references undefined EX of material 3.

*** ERROR *** CP = 16.734 TIME= 22:20:39
Element 317489 references undefined EX of material 181.

Element 357595 references undefined EX of material 202.

*** ERROR *** CP = 17.688 TIME= 22:20:40
The step data was checked and there were errors found.

Somewhere on the internet I read that the error "undefined EX of material XXX" has something to do with custom material whose modulus of elasticity is not defined. This doesn't apply to me, since the materials I used were all the one that came with ANSYS. Still, I went to the library and checked if the Modulus of elasticity is defined, and it was.

Any help in this regard will be highly appreciated.

P.S. If someone can also guide me how does ANSYS designate a number to a material (i.e. how can one identify what material 202, material 194, etc. refers to), I would be really grateful

Workbench assigns one material and one element type per body in the geometry tree, it is an internal numbering scheme not directly visible to the user.
What kind of material model do you use? Have you tried limiting your model to a single body to see if the problem persists? Have you run a small test modell with the materials and element types you are using in the analysis model, if so did that work?
