Elements exploding!!!

OK so what's going on here?

Is it an hourglassing issue (I have combined hourglassing turned on)? A mass scaling issue?

I also have delete elements turned on but they aint deleting by the looks of things.

Anyway any pointers much appreciated.

Maybe you have forgotten to request the STATUS variable as field output. With this variable /CAE can control the display of deactivated elements.
