I intend to design an elevated RCC Water Tank and would follow the ACI 350 & ACI 371-16. Currently I'm gathering all the codes requirements for the design of tank. The tank is around 40m high and might be a RCC circular shaft or beam column frame. I've gathered few things but I'm unable to find what the horizontal deflection/ drift limit should be for these kind of tank for seismic and wind cases. Is there any reference in codes specifically for elevated tanks?

Yes.. i remember one of the standard suggests h/500 for elastic displacements . P-delta effect could be
minimized by restricting total lateral deflection of staging to hs/500 and this quantity shall be increased by the factor Cd/Ie . (approx 3.0) for evaluating the additional load to cover P-Delta Effects in the support structure.
