Emergency light

if i have emergency light with built in backup battery and connected to a separate emergency circuit when i switch off how it recognize that it is switching case not power failure

in some areas it is connected to switches and in others connected directly to the panel
 
Better check with the building, and other codes. It is normal practice to leave the emergency lighting circuits also on.

So they are using the light circuit for power supply and the switch box for junction? Most likely jumpered off the hot and not in series with switch. The only other type of switch I have seen on E-lights is a test switch located low enough to test the function of lights without needing a ladder.

thanks for all i get the solution . it will be by adding one more wire from the switch to the lamp.
the lamp must be connected by four wires 2 line + neutral+ grounding
