Hi,

I am solving a problem in EES. All my units are in S.I. However, I would like to change Pressure from [Pa] to [KPa] without messing up the results. I tried to do it, but the results make no sense. What is the best way to do it? Also, if I change Pressure from [Pa] to [kPa], are there any dependent units? Area should be changed to [mm^2], or can still be fine in [m]?

Thank you in advance,

You should have a completely consistent system of units. Link

If you are using closed form equations, the units SHOULD remain consistent. HOWEVER, any empirical or fitting parameters have to carry the correct units, or the final result will likely get gibberished. I don't use EES, so I've no idea how it actually handles units. Mathcad, assuming you use units religiously and with great discipline, keeps complete track of units, because whether you use mm or m or furlongs, EVERYTHING is converted to SI internally. If your results are gibberished, I would start with every constant to see if there are implied units that you didn't enter into EES.
