Hi all,

I am having this problem when I try to run verify commands such as abaqus verify -user_std to verify that I have linked Fortran to ABAQUS correctly. However, I get the following error and I am not sure what is causing this to happen. Please let me know if you have any suggestions.

Does this error appear only when you try to do the verification for subroutines ? The problem may be caused by firewall.

This error appears whenever I run to verify for example abaqus -user_std or abaqus verify -all or abaqus verify -std.
What should I do if the issue is related to firewall?

Note: There is no issue when I run an Abaqus job without subroutine.

When it comes to firewall, make sure that nothing blocks the communication between Abaqus and license server.

You may also try adding -NoLicenseCheck command to abaqus verify.

See if you can list your available licenses with the command:

[pre]abaqus licensing ru[/pre]

If that fails with the same error then either
[ol 1]
[li]Your license is down, expired, etc (as the error says)[/li]
[li]Your license server has a blocking firewall (as FEA way said)[/li]
[li]Your license server is now using port number other than 27000. It is best practice not refer to a specific port number for this reason. On your client just use the syntax @whatever not 27000@whatever[/li][/ol]
