Error "THE LOCATION SPECIFIED IS NOT A VALID NX INSTALLED ROOT"

Hi,

For NX 11, while installing custom symbols in NATIVE MODE, am getting error "THE LOCATION SPECIFIED IS NOT A VALID NX INSTALLED ROOT"

I used this location

C:\Program Files\Siemens\NX11.0\NXBIN\ which i got from Can somebody help me how to fix this error?

Sorry for the obvious first question, but - is this where you installed NX?
Also, the default NX install location listed in the link you posted is incorrect. In the true default install location there is a space between "NX" and "11.0"; which the hexagonmi site seems to have missed.

The installer doesn't allow you to browse to the desired location? You have to type it in? If so, I'd suggest opening the Windows explorer and browsing to the NX install location (the NXBIN subfolder), then copy the path from the location bar and paste it into your installer.

Thanks for the help. after you said there must be gap between NX and 11.0, i worked around and found that the link is C:\Program Files\Siemens\NX 11.0

not upto NXBIN Folder.
