I recently purchased a Megger DLRO200 low resistance ohmmeter. Unfortunately the unit must be plugged into a 120 VAC source which is not convenient in our manufacturing facility. We purchased a pure sine wave inverter (300 W), battery charger and 12 V battery in hopes of converting to a self contained unit we could roll around on a cart. The problem we are facing is that the DRLO performs a test to verify a ground connection. The output on the inverter has a ground prong but aparrently not adequate for the DRLO to pass the test. I'm looking for any suggestions on how to get the DRLO into thinking it has a ground connection.
Thanks in advance,
