Is there a way to directly import the trendline equation to an excel cell?

Yes.

Use the LINEST() or LOGEST() functions.

They are array functions.

Here is an example of using Linest to develop a polynomial trendline.

Also push F9 repeatedly to refresh the signal with new random noise.
