Hi everyone.
I have a rotor blade in CATIA that consists of 11 airfoils with 300 points (x,y,z) each. I need to export the points of every airfoil into a text file or EXCEL. Can anyone help me please ?
I have searched on google and I have found that I need to use a MACRO to do this. The problem is that I have never used a MACRO in CATIA nor programmed in VBA. Can anyone give me a MACRO that works well and show me please how to load it and use it in CATIA to export my points ? (or if you know another method to do this, please share it here).
Thank you very much for your help, Petro.

Thank you ferdo for your reply.

I have use Search function and found an interesting thread related to my problem. Apparently, I can use a design table to export my points but I have a problem with this. Here it is:
In my Catia, I have 11 separated splines. For each spline, I define two reference points (type: on curve) on the spline and then with the '' points and planes repetition '' command I generate many points on the spline (between these two reference points). By default, all the generated points are ''on curve '' type; so when I use the design table, all I got in excel is the length of each point to one of the two reference points that I have created at first. Now, when I change the type of the points from ''on curve'' to ''coordinates''; and when I use again the design table, I have my x,y,z coordinates. My problem is that I`m changing manually the type of the points, one by one, from ''on curve'' to ''coordinates''; I have 300 points per spline and this will take me long time. Do you know a way to select all points and change their type to '' coordinates '' directly by one shot?

Thank you again,

Jun
