Hi

We are designing a product and we need to export custom human model from Siemens NX. Problem is that I am not able to succeed. I have tried all universal file systems yet all I can achieve is to get errors or corrupted exports.

This model is later imported to Solid Edge for reference.

I found one thread which could cover it and it was here in this forum, no answers given.

Best regards

MicroSD,

This sounds like a Siemens NX problem, rather than a Human Factors problem.

Look for MIL-1472 on the internet. This is the US Military human factors specification. Probably, it provides enough information that you can construct your own human model.

This is hardly a human factors problem, unless you count NX.

Can you export anything at all? If so, then you are likely using something in the model that cannot be exported. If so, then you need to start removing things until you can export. If not, then you need to talk to your IT or Siemens support.

For some reason only .JT format works. I have one solution that I haven't tried yet to get other solutions to work.

Yes. Everything else is exportable for as long as I have used this software. The main problem is exporting human body made with human modeling feature, only .JT file format works. Other formats fail even when I turn model into non history mode. For now I have solved my problem.
