Hey everyone. I'm caught on a bit of a snag and the CAST seems to be a bit outdated. Thanks for any help you can offer.

I'm trying to use the spreadsheet edit function in my expressions window to update some values. I'm running Excel 2007 and NX6. Opening up my expressions window, I click the 'Spreadsheet Edit' button which opens up a nifty, colorful Excel sheet. I can change my formulas in there, the ones highlighted in green, but I can't seem to get it to update back to NX for the life of me. CAST tells me to hit Tools>Update Expr, which I cannot find in 2007 as the 'Tools' menu no longer exists. There IS, however, a Update under the little circle-office-dohickey button in the top left corner of excel, but that seems to do absolutely nothing.

Along those same lines, in CAST's 'Add Expressions' walk through, it tells you to open the spreadsheet, then select Options>NX Preferences and later Tools>Extract Expr, neither of which I can find. Any suggestions on finding the placement of these? Thanks again.

On the Excel spreadsheet there should be an option on the menu bar for "Add-Ins". Click there and you should see an option to "Update expressions".

Hi,
In Excel 2007, you will find the NX add on under the last tab on the top right: the french name is "compléments" maybe AddOn in English after the tab named "Display"
I hope this helps
Regards
Didier
