face blend problem 1

can anyone tell me how to do this face blend?
i'm trying to do this but it says unable to attach blends!

Without a part, it's going to be hard to help you out other than offering blind suggestions. I'm on NX9, so a Parasolid compatible with NX9 would be best for me to offer assistance if you're able to share your part or a version close to it with fewer details.

Can I ask why you're using a Face Blend instead of an Edge Blend?

i'm new with Siemens NX, i used to work with Solidworks.
i couldn't use edge blend cause it blends the edge in, i'm using version 10 and i have uploaded the part file.

Worked fine for me in NX9 with a similar part, guessing on dimensions. I'd still use an Edge Blend if it were me. I don't see any advantage to using the Face Blend with these particular settings. One thing to note is that the option "Blend Width Method" I see for your Face Blend isn't present in NX9.

If you're looking for bugs with Face Blend, then I'd definitely report this unless you have a setting wrong.

Ahhhh.....I'm thinking you haven't united your solids.

Some features in NX have built-in Booleans (Unite, Subtract, Intersect). Once you have the first solid created, Unite the others to it (for this part). Take a look at my Extrudes for an example. You can also change the Booleans later, if you wish.

Your file consists of three separate solid bodies. Unite them together then use the "edge blend" command.
