Gents:

I am looking for fashionable wall-mounted air extractors but I can't find any ... I saw them once in a "National" Cathalog and they where actually suitable for ducts (I mean they were able to blow air through a 1-1/2 feet long duct).

Do you know about any supplier of this kind of air extractors?

Thanks and regards

VenPipingEng, does this have to be a singe-unit extractor? Usually you'd buy some sort of wall grille or diffuser (sometimes supply diffusers are put in exhaust applications for aesthetics) and run a duct to an exhaust fan. If it's a small application, such as less than 250 cfm, Home Depot has single-unit bathroom ceiling fans that can be mounted on walls.

Thanks ChasBean1 ... the thing is Local Suppliers (I'm From Venezuela) always distribute exhaust fans that can not be connected to ducts (low pressure head) that is why I was looking for a "single-unit".

Do you think any exhaust fan will be ok (providing the length of the duct is to be short)?

Ven, maybe, but if the fan like a standard oscillating fan you'd put in a room, it might not even overcome the friction imposed by gravity dampers. Be careful with that. Could you order a fan for shipment? If so, try - they have tons of types of fans, for high or low pressure applications; most can be attached to duct work. Good luck. -CB
