Hello!,
Just to let you all know that FEMAP v11.1.2 has been released. FEMAP v11.1.2 DVDs will be shipped shortly to FEMAP Maintenance Customers. FEMAP v11.1.2 is also available for download from the GTAC download server, in the FEMAP – Full Product Releases section.
FEMAP v11.1.2 contains some minor enhancements and several important bug fixes. Notable bug fixes are as follows:
• Updated interface with 3DConnexion devices to allow FEMAP to function properly when using newer drivers from 3DConnexion. Previously, it was possible for FEMAP to become unresponsive during dynamic rotation.
• Various corrections to the NASTRAN, LS-DYNA and ANSYS interfaces.
• Corrected issue which cause no results to be displayed when transforming solid element results unless Output Orientation was set to a specific value. Now works with any Output Orientation.
• Updated interface with Spatial Freedom Astroid 3D mouse to allow FEMAP to function properly. In FEMAP 11.1.1, it did would not function at all.
• FEMAP v11.1.2 also includes the latest NX Nastran v9.1.
Complete details of the new features and corrections in FEMAP v11.1.2 (as well as all releases back to v10.0) can be found in the /pdf/readme.pdf file that is installed with FEMAP v11.1.2. Customers using FEMAP v11.1.0 or v11.1.1 should upgrade immediately by uninstalling FEMAP v11.1.0 or v11.1.1 and installing v11.1.2.

Installation:

After downloading the FEMAP v11.1.2 zip file, unzip to a temporary location. The zip file contains an exact copy of the FEMAP v11.1.2 DVD. Run the setup.exe and install as usual. FEMAP v11.1.2 is 100% database and licensing compatible with FEMAP v11.1.0 and v11.1.1. If you have already upgraded your dongle and were running FEMAP v11.1.0 or v11.1.1, after installation you will be ready to go. If you run FEMAP with a floating network license, you will need to tell FEMAP where the license server is: after installation, start FEMAP, you will be prompted to specify your license server information. Here, enter the full path to the license.dat file that the license server is using, or enter: @License_Server_Name, obviously, substituting the name of your license server preceded by the @ character.

If you are upgrading from a version previous to v11.1.0

Similar to all previous releases of FEMAP, dongle based customer will have to get upgrade codes in order to run v11.1.2. Customers licensed via FLEXlm will need to acquire an updated license file in order for FEMAP v11.1.2 to run.
