Sometimes structural clay tile is used for the construction of party walls in early 20th century brick rowhomes. Sometimes the old rowhomes collapse or are demolished, leaving the party wall exposed.
Can FRCM be used to reinforce an existing Structural Clay Tile party wall (aka, "structural terracotta walls").
Another option (in my specific case) would be to install CMU block walls (with its own footing) outboard of the clay tile bearing wall and tie the new CMU block wall to the wood floor joist at each level. If I do it that way, I would need to grout the clay tile solid at the location of the tie-anchors.
