Fire barrier for ceiling foam insulation 1

I'm working on a 1-storey warehouse project with multiple fire areas. One of the area/room needs to be separated with 2-hr fire rated construction with the rest of the building. CMU walls were being provided as the 2-hr fire rated separation and they are constructed from floor up to the roof underside (no gap). The problem arises inside of the room, spray foam insulation will be applied underside of the room. Does the spray foam insulation need to be protected by 2 hr rated drop ceiling?

For the two hour separation, the answer should be no.

Currently the design provided a 2 hr rated gyp board ceiling to protect the insulation. The insulation itself is 15 mins rated as required by NFPA 101 for foam insulation. But since the room is required to have 2 hour separation, they said (designer) the ceiling should be 2 hr fire rated too. I thought it is not required since the CMU walls are full height walls.

The building was designed in accordance UFC (military), so both IBC 2012 and NFPA 101 were used.
Fire rating requirements of load bearing assemblies shall comply to IBC 2012. For non load bearing assemblies shall comply to NFPA 101 2015.
