I have been using the AASHTO template WB-50 for the largest fire trucks. If this is not correct, can someone tell me which AASHTO template should I use?

that's a good start, may be conservative in cities where the fire engines have tighter turning radius's. I suggest calling the fire department for that city your project is situated and ask for the outside radius turn at least. If you are running Autoturn, you may want to ask for the front wheel overhang, wheel base, rear wheel overhang, track width, body width and maximum steering angle. You can create a specific fire truck template with this information and proceed on modeling the turns. This is how I usually do the process.

Very good suggestion, I have emailed the Fire Marshal for the information on the trucks they may be using for this particular site.

Thank you very much

I've been able use an AASHTO "Bus" type vehicle with many fire marshalls.....but, I always ask them, first.
Good luck,

H.

Virtually every fire truck is different. Pumpers tend to have the same characteristics as Single Unit but are longer. I agree, the best bet is to contact the fire company where you are working. If they don't have the vehicle specs, they may be able to give you the manufacturer information.
