Firewall temperature rating

For it to be considered a firewall.. what must be the maximum temperature rating it can resist? There are wall insulated panels that are rated at 350 Celsius (662 Fahrenheit), 100 Celsius (212 Fahrenheit).. and has fire retardant properties.. can these be considered firewalls?

What wall insulated panels have you used that has good firewall rating.. and how does this compare to concrete wall in terms of fire protection?

If I remember correctly, fire rated assemblies need to pass a fire endurance test which may include a fire hose stream test toward (at?) the end of testing. I suggest you look at your local building code requirements.

In the US components and assemblies need to be tested by an independent testing lab. The relevant standards are ASTM E-119, NFPA 251, and UL 263. As suggested above, you need to consult the local code to determine what is required then select a product that has been tested to the applicable standard. The temperature resistance is only part of the story. Refer to chapter 7 of the IBC if you're in the US.

NB: You need to be careful with your terminology - there are fire walls, fire barriers, and fire partitions. They have very different requirements.
